Challenges and Achievements

Challenges are specific tasks to complete that will grant XP to the Kid, contributing to his Adventurer Level. There are a total of 42 challenges that grant the Kid a combined amount of 6,175 XP.

The challenges are listed in the game menu's left side, always three per island. Upon completion their background turns from grey to blue and there is an in-game notification. While only three are displayed at a time, all challenges are active and any challenge can be completed anytime on any island.

Achievements are additional tasks that have no in-game effect or reward. They are tied to the platform the game is played on, such as Apple's Game Center, Steam, etc.. There are 20 additional achievements to be collected to gain a 100% completion rate on any particular platform.

The following list is sorted roughly by the sequence the various islands can be visited. The challenges are kept in their original sorting per island. The numbering is only for sorting puposes. Additional achievements are listed at the bottom. Notes in parantheses are user-added descriptions of the actual conditions to get the challenge.

14	Bomber Archeologist	Use bombs to break walls 10 times	75 XP
15	Fabled Gardener	Lift the curse from the Forest Shrine (defeat Turmos)	100 XP

16	Sticky Finger	Collect 1000 coins	50 XP
17	Shish-Kebab	Kill an enemy with a burning arrow	50 XP
