Gen, once known as Sir Corbin, is an automaton built by a teenage warlock known as Mesmeroth, initially made to be a companion and servant for the boy. Since the Direfolk War, however, Gen serves as host for Mesmeroth’s companion Sir Corbin's soul, who was bound to the robot by him after his mortal body died. Sir Corbin accepts his new body and from then on is being known and referred to as "Gen". For the next two decades, Gen continues to be a close friend to Master Mayfair and helps him raise Hero into a Knight of Arcadia. When the Dark Army threatens the safety of Arcadia, he joins his fellow knights on the important mission of returning the Sacred Emblems to their respective Beacons.
